Adium & Growl

I think Growl is ok, messages from Mail and iTunes are working great.

But Adiums messages won't appear. Growl regognises Adium and I do settings if i want. But still no messages. Adium did not offer installing Growl.

Same problem with XChat, but there is something wrong in XChat.

Adium is 1.4.0 and i think Growl is newest too.

My computer is G4 Mac Mini with OS X 10.4.9.

Growl and Adium are working well in my G3 iMac with 10.3.9.

You may not have Growl notifications turned on. Here are directions for using Growl with Adium.

Growl does not work in my Adium. For quite a while I was getting no notifications at all, and had no idea why. Finally with someone attempting to send me a file I checked my prefs and saw that my notifications were set to use Growl (I have the current version installed), so I changed all the Growl notifications to Adium ones, and of course those work.

I don't know why Growl is broken, but it no workee here.
TiBook 550, 10.4.9.

If there are any tests you want me to run in order to help pinpoint the problem, I'll be happy to do so.
