Growl notifications on top of all apps

hi
I'm the developer of dotakeys:mac.
I'm looking for a way to display messages regarding the status of my app during the game. Posting a string directly into chat window isn't a lot beautiful, plus all allies sees the messages. And the Carbon CGEventPost (keyboardEvent) very often don't work as expected...

So I'm thinking if there's a way to register my app with growl, and then put on the top of warcraft the notifications, as usual in the upper-right corner.

You can't, but you can do what I do and run wc3:dota in a windowed mode and see growl notifications.

ok... so windowed mode...

dotakeys is a program that is useful when you play a lot dota with various heroes. In practice, you don't need to remember all keys for the abilities of every hero. You set in dotakeys 4 keys for the 4 abilities and the program converts that key in the true key of the chosen hero. The mac version is written using Carbon and CGEvents, plus yesterday I finished the prefpane.
