Upload Disconnects

Post by girasquid »

Hello, all.

Recently while using Cyberduck, I've encountered a problem: if I upload files of multiple types(not just a single folder, or a single .cgi file - something like a folder and a handful of .cgi files), the download gets VERY close to finishing, and then mysteriously disconnects before it actually finishes. The message underneath my transfer will say "Transfer Incomplete, 3.5 KB of 3.4 KB".

These strangely over-uploaded items also do not respond to the "Clean Up" button.

I believe that this might be a configuration issue, as it seems to have only come up just recently. However, I'm having no luck figuring out exactly what is misconfigured. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Girasquid

Use Binary transfer mode in Cyberduck > Preferences > FTP.

I was always told that I needed to use ASCII mode to upload script files - is this still true, or will binary work too?
