1.1b3 Messaging Problem/Crash

Hi, everyone. When I go to the Messaging preference tab, no image comes up in the preview window for the Message Style. Also, Adium crashes when trying to exit the preference window, regardless of whether I change something or not. No Adium crash report appears; the Apple crash report comes up instead. When I double-click on a contact to send an IM, the window never appears to type my message. I am using an iBook G4 with 10.4.10. Thanks!
