Yahoo Privacy

Hi,

I am have recently been getting a lot of spam through my Yahoo IM account. Lately, when I open up Adium a message pops up from a Yahoo-spam account. I, of course, block that user right away, but new addresses keep spamming me.

I tried to fix this by setting the Yahoo privacy to "Allow only contacts on my contact list". However, when Adium is closed and reopened, my Yahoo privacy setting reverts back to "Block certain contacts", which ultimately allows another account to spam me.

Does anyone know why my Yahoo privacy is not sticking on the "Allow only contacts on my contact list" setting? Thanks.

seen this in my mac too... I think it's a ticket reporting this somewhere....

Okay, thanks for the reply. I hope they get this fixed soon, as it is really annoying getting all those spam messages.
