Persistent "Connect"?

Post by rinto »

Just a vote for having the "Connect" window reappear across an invalid password entry, a common practice when these kinds of windows appear.

In other words: if a user mistypes their password it is mostly likely an error, and they will want to re-enter the password immediately. As Adium now functions, the window doesn't reappear after the error message- it has to be invoked again from the menu.

Hope this is clear.

It does for me on the services I use; this is most likely an oversight. On what service are you seeing this errant behavior?
The duck still burns.

Sincere apologies for the late response: I hadn't set up prefs to receive reply notification emails.

This is happening for Yahoo Messenger: pretty much the only service I use.

Something is broken in 1.1.x with regard to invalid passwords and prompting for a new one. It works on 1.2/trunk.
