Contact details popping up when adium is in the background.

Hi,

Ive used adium for well over a year now, and its great, theres just one persistent problem that is really aggravating me.

When adium is in the background, or even hiden when in auto hide, the contact details still pop up when another application like safari is over it.

About 6 months ago i raised a ticket to adium and they said it was a known issue that will be fixed soon, but 6 months and many updates later, this problem is still not addressed.

I have virtuedesktops - and they pop up when in a different desktop! Its a real problem for me.

Does anyone else have this problem? What do you do to solve it?

Its started to drive me up the wall!

Edit: Ive just given aMSN a try and the first impressions are not good!
Even if it isnt fixed yet, is there a work around? Adium has been faithfull to me for a good year now, its just this one thing that i dislike!

There's actually an option to disable this: Preferences > Advanced > Contact List > Tooltips > Uncheck 'While Adium is in the background'
