Can't Sign into Adium: Connection in Dorm

Hi everybody. Sorry if this has been posted, but I have searched.

For some reason I am unable to connect to Adium (MSN and Gmail) using my residences internet. Firefox, iTunes and MSN Messenger all work fine. I would really appreciate the help.
