Is it just me or is anybody else at loss with the new syncing in the recent betas?
For once I don't really get the new UI.
But also it just plain doesn't seem to work: files with a different timestamp don't get synced.
I don't really understand it, but it just seems to work totally different from before (or not at all?!)
I am observing this on FTPS connections; haven't checked FTP.
Maybe somebody can explain this?!
new syncing in 2.8 betas
Yes, this is still being worked on. Please try the latest nightly build at http://update.cyberduck.ch/nightly

The mirror option does seem to work in the latest builds, however, I'd like to question the interface change a little if I may:
I understand the use for displaying the sync changes in a document tree fashion (especially as before it was quite common for there to be a long list of, say index.html files and one would need to inspect the details of each to see which ones they actually were).
However, it was immediately obvious what was being updated with the old view, and this is less apparent with the new system.
I'd like to request that the tree be expanded when it first appears to show all of the files that are about to be updated? this eliminates the need to open up the whole lot to check what is being transferred.
This brings up other issues for me though; all the other files that aren't being transferred are displayed as well (greyed out). At the moment they appear to serve no use except to clutter the view?
Is it possible for them to be hidden from view?
or is there intention to be able to force them to up/download in that view by clicking on them (this would be quite handy IMO)?
Even so, i think it would be nice to at least have them hidden to begin with, maybe revealable with a little toggle somewhere.
Does all that make sense to anyone else?
