Disabling the "User has left the conversation" not

Post by Turias2 »

Hello.

I was wondering if there is any way to disable the notification sent to a user whenever I close my conversation window. I am using Jabber and I like to close my conversation windows regularly to keep things clean, but I don't like the idea of other people knowing when I've closed the conversation with them (it feels rude). If there is currently no way to do this, would the developers entertain the idea as a feature request?

Thank you,
Turias

Bumping this as I would like to disable this notification as well. It's completely unnecessary and comes across as rude.

I agree that it can be useful. I just think it would be nice if there were an option to disable it.
