When I first installed and configured Adium, my accounts (hotmail, yahoo, .mac, AOL & ICQ) were all displayed in various groups. As I got the feel of Adium, and started setting up contacts in my Hotmail and Yahoo accounts, my ids started disappearing, and now there are none of my ids listed.
Can someone tell me how to get my ids to show up again in Adium.
NOTE: I am logged-in to all the accounts that don't display, and can chat with contacts. It's just that my accounts are not being displayed anymore.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean -- people on your contact list don't show up as online, even when they are online? Have you tried "Show Offline Contacts" from the View menu to make sure that they ARE on your contact list?
That said, if they are, you might try removing them from your contact list, then re-adding them. It may be an authorization issue.

Thanks for the reply.
what I mean is the accounts that represent me (yahoo, hotmail, ICQ, @mac.com and Rendezvous ) were all displayed in my Buddies list as well as all the contacts from my address book. Now none of the accounts the represent me are displayed, but the others are OK
Hope that make more sense.

thanks for the reply.dchoby98 wrote:OK, so still -- try "show offline contacts" and see if you're on your own list, but not showing up for some reason.
You can also just try adding yourself to you list: Contact -> Add Contact -> Fill in your own name.
"Show offline contacts" has always been active, so don't know what the deal is there.
When I go to Add Contact, all my IDs show up in the "Add to Accounts" pain not matter what the protocol. Are you saying I should add myself to myself, so to speak? I did add the first Yahoo account, and when I put the mouse over the contact, the pop up automatically pull in ALL my accounts.
So, as long as I did the right thing, I guess I am OK now.
Thanks a tonne.
Thanks
Gary

To clarify the "add yourself to yourself" thing, that's basically correct. Your screen name is just like anyone else's; it would only show up if it's actually on your buddy list. So you have to add your screen name to your buddy list (just like you have to add other people's screen names) in order to see it.

Thanks Fred, and dchoby98 for responding to my problem.
I added myself to my Buddy list and everything is working peachy. Thanks a million. I think Adium is fantastic, and like it better than Trillium.
One feature I hope shows up in the future would be SSL for messaging. Otherwise, it is next to perfect for me now.
Great Work to all on the dev team!!!
