Problem with Adium & MSN

Hello,

I've been using Adium for a few months now...

Recently, I've encountered a problem with my MSN account on Adium: all my contacts have disapperead (I don't see them at all, even if they're either online or offline) and whenever they send me a message (which means that they can see me online) it's as if they were invisible...

It happened while I was using Tiger, but I've switched to Leopard since then, doing a clean install of the system and therefore Adium as well...

I have a Mac and as soon as i downloaded the updated Adium 1.1.4 MSN does not connect is this what you are talking about and how did you fix it

I think Adium connects to the MSN server in my case...

The problem is that I don't see my contacts anymore: I have no idea who's online or who's not, beause I can't see them...

But I can receive messages from them, as if they were invisible...

I've had this problem as well, just suddenly started last week. I noticed that all my 'statuses' disappeared from my list as well. I solved this by deleting my prefs and starting again, but if more than one person is having this problem I'm starting to think it might be a bug of some sort.

I have been having problems myself with Adium and accessing MSN Messenger through it since moving to 1.1.4. I had previously been running 1.0.6 under 10.3.9 and had no issues with Messenger, but now that I have MacOS 10.4 and Adium 1.1.4 running on a new machine it will not log into it and it just say there is a write error no matter what I try with it. It is rather frustrating. I have no problems logging into all my other clients.

As I currently have two machines on my desk, the old and new one I need to use the old one just to chat! I want to dump the old one ASAP once I have all the data off it... Anyone have any ideas to fix this Adium issue?
