bonjour messaging problem

Post by superfula »

I work in an environment with 60+ other Macs. All of the machines are connected to one of three switches, which are in turn connected with fibre. Adium SHOULD work fine with Bonjour messaging, but it doesn't. When other people message me with iChat, they get a message saying my computer is unreachable.

As an aside, it doesn't matter which machine Adium is installed on. The same error pops every time. Thoughts?

What version of Adium are you using?

Oh man, how could I forget that. 1.1.4. It occurs on both Tiger and Leopard.

Any thoughts?

Curious, does anyone use Adium as a bonjour client in an enterprise locale?

We've made huge improvements to Bonjour for Adium 1.2.

Please try this debug build: Adium 1.2svn21709 and let us know if it fixes the problem.
