Getting growlnotify to make sounds

Hello,
I am trying to get growlnotify make any system sound so that i can get audible alarms from events in Google Calender via Google Calendar Notifier. Is that possible?

Also I cannot add Firefox to the list of applications that Growl knows. I see no button or other way to add applications in the Growl preference pane. Am I missing something?

Individual applications must be Growl-aware. They will register themselves upon first launch.

The current version of Firefox is not Growl-aware, although the upcoming Firefox 3 release is.
