AIM protocol change?

Did the AIM protocol change? I can't seem to login via adium or ichat. i was able to login via meebo though.

I can log in just fine with Adium here (US), and there isn't a flood of users on these forums asking about a protocol change, so I'm assuming that the protocol hasn't changed. Instead, I'd suspect a firewall change at your location, particularly if you're connecting from a university or an office.

nope, using it from home.
very bizarre since no changes were made to the router.

same version of adium and same router type at the office work great though...

odd. any ports i should make sure are kept open on the router?

this just started happening today though... and no change in computer or internet connection

i had to disable the default firewall on my linksys router and it worked agian. strange.
