Growl notifications used to work fine, but now aren't appearing for the growl-enabled apps that I use (Adium, ChatX, or Mozy). I'm not sure when the problem started, but it's possible this happened when I upgraded to Leopard.
I have reinstalled both Adium 1.1.4 and Growl 1.1.2 to no avail. The test growl notification from system preferences works fine, as do notifications generated through AppleScript. The problem seems to be with applications that try to send notifications directly like Adium, but I'm not sure what steps to take next to troubleshoot this further. (I've double checked my event settings in Adium, and they do say to generate growl notifications for all IM's received.)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Adium and other apps not working
fixed!
All fixed! I installed the Logitech Control Center software for the first time when I upgraded to Leopard, so I just followed this instructions from the following thread to remove the LCC Scroll Enhancer Loader. Growl notifications work again!
