if i use cyberduck to go to my web site's ftp area, and try and download a large folder with many sub-files in it, cyberduck does it, but appears to hammer the server, and after a few minutes i get permanently blacklisted! (i have to e-mail the hosting company to tell them to unblacklist me. unfortunately it's done by ip, and i don't have fixed ip, so there's no way to fix this permanently.)
they tell me i should use another ftp client that can limit the number of simultaneous connections. (they tell me the magic number for their servers is 8.) i really like using cyberduck. is it capable of limiting the number of simultaneous connections when downloading large amounts of files?
