There's "Hide while Adium is in background" in Preferences > Advanced > Contact list, if that's what you mean.

(This is where it is in the beta - is it the same in .77?)

He means hide it like the dock. It's not possible currently although at least one person was working on it. I don't think it's been touched in a while.

i think he means the hide dock feature were if u put ur mouse to the bottom it pops back up... im guessing u mean like when u move your mouse over a certain spot on ur screen adium pops up and when u move it away adium fades away?

Exactly what i mean, but when it reappears it floats ontop of other apps

it's not a important feature one more of luxury, i assume there's bigger fish to fry

The ability to float above other apps already exists, the only addition would be the show/hide actions.

This is a neat idea, and a tad tricky to work on. Some users worked on it for a while, but I don't think it ever worked consistently. If anyone would like to take up the project... :)
