Google/Jabber problems

I'm still having problems with 1.2b7 connecting the Google Talk and Jabber servers.

I've got two Google Talk addresses and two other Jabber servers I regularly connect to. When I start up, Adium tries to connect to all 4 (as expected), but can't connect to either Google Talk address. One of the Jabber servers it says it connects to, but I don't see myself or anyone else as online on that server. Adium never connects to the other Jabber server. Adium 1.1.4 connected to all of them.

If I go to the Accounts tab in Preferences, the two Google Talk accounts have a status of Connecting and say Initializing Stream (62%) under the user ID. The Jabber server Adium claims it's connected to has a status of Disconnecting and the other Jabber server has a status of Connecting but nothing under the user ID.

I decided to try deleting one of the Google Talk accounts and re-adding it, so I hit the -, and Adium brings up the delete sheet, but if I hit Delete, the sheet just stays there, and none of the buttons do anything, so I have to force quit Adium to get rid of the Preferences window.

After force quitting, I restarted Adium, quit normally, then restarted with shift held down so it wouldn't connect. I then opened the Debug Window and tried to connect to one of my Google Talk accounts. Once it became quiescent for a few minutes, I saved the log info and can send it to someone if they'd like it.

Does it work in 1.2b8?

1.2b8? The latest the beta download page has is 1.2b7. If someone can point me to a built 1.2b8 (sorry, I can't build Adium right now) I'll try it.

Just use Adium's update feature. You might have to activate beta-build updating in the preferences.

Yay! 1.2b8 fixed both problems, not being able to connect and not being able to delete an account. I also didn't have beta-build updating turned on, I've got that on now. Thanks much!
