Meta contacts are too much meta

Post by excomax »

Okay, im using an Adium build from the svn trunk (rev. 22127). I saw that behaviour in earlier builds, too.

I'm having a meta contact with two accounts in it. One at ICQ one at Yahoo. These both contacts are placed in a group called Sonstige. Then I have (not only one) another contact (ICQ) placed in a group called LE-Chat. This contact has nothing to do with with the meta contact. But, and thats so weird, it always shows up as part of the meta contact in Sonstige.

I tried to remove that LE-Chat contact and readd it in another group. But with adding it automatically shows up as part of the meta contact.

So I quit Adium and took a look at the plists. I removed the meta information there but that only splitted the Yahoo- from the ICQ-meta contact. The second ICQ contact from LE-Chat is still attached to the ICQ contact in Sonstige and I don't find any solution to split them and they are differnt persons so shouldn't show up as one contact. I'm also very sure I never combined them.

Having a look at the user info also shows that these contacts should be in different groups. First contact is ICQ (Sonstige), second is ICQ (LE-Chat) and third is Yahoo (Sonstige).

Does anybody have a solution for that problem?

A second thing that pops into my eyes right now: The offline and invisible status icons are switched in the contact list. No matter what status icon set is in use. So it seems to be a general problem to me.

Have a nice weekend and hopefully someone can help me out with this. :)

Does it make a difference if you turn off address book integration?
