Spelling in Danish?

Post by Frederik- »

I wonder if it's possible to change the dictionary in Adium to Danish?

Edit > Spelling > Spelling... you can change the dictionary from there. Adium uses the built-in Mac OS spellchecker so any change in Adium will affect other applications that use it (such as TextEdit)

OSX doesnt have a danish dictionary, so no, you cant. (Or in any other program either..)

Hi

Have anyone got Danish spelling to work with Adium? I've installed Cocoaspell (http://cocoaspell.leuski.net/) and together with aspell5-da-1.4.42-1.tar.bz2 language package (ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/aspell/dict/da)

If I view Edit/Spelling/Spelling I can choose languages from Australian English to Swedish, but where is Danish?

In my System Preferences/Spelling I've naturally marked Danish....

The Cocoaspell works great in Mellel, Smultron, Textedit and my browser (OmniWeb) so why not in Adium?
