I really never thought about it but right now an idea popped out of my mind: Wouldn't it be great, if Growl had an option to show notifications on both screens when having expanded the Desktop. I don't know if it's practicable in any way to set this per application. But I think it would be nice to have such a feature.
I'm often working on several projects at the same time on two screens. When I upload some files I get notified on screen one while working on screen two. So I miss lot's of notifications like upload finished etc. But setting the notifications on screen two instead of one would be no solution since my eyes move from one screen to the other and back again. So there's no primary display in that sense. They both are primary. A friendly coexistence.
Maybe you have thought about it before and it doesn't make sense at all or is way to difficult to implement. But if you haven't thought about it maybe you see the functionality in it, too.
If not - think about it: "This guy just has too much time. He should concentrate on his work not on notifications."
