hey all quick question, how do i get what ever i'm playing in my itunes to show up in my status so others can see on the real msn client? i've done a search on the forum and i'm totally lost, i'm using the latest version of adium and osx tiger

In Adium Preferences go to the status tab. Create a new status by clicking on the + button. Give it a title, set the state and in the "Status message:" field, control-click/right click on the field itself and look for "Insert iTunes Token".

You can't, 'cause there's no msn personal message support heretofore.

Suggests otherwise. I wouldn't know either way because I avoid MSN.

Hi!
I resolved this problem to show the current song from iTunes in Adium with a small trick..

On the "Contacts" window I added in "my displayed name" the next code:

%_track - %_artist

The problem is when you add this code on the "state" field (in preference for instance) because MSN doesn't recognize it but when it is on the "Name" field works perfectly! I tested with an invitation account from MSN and it works.
