Multiple MSN accounts in Adium

Before I add multiple MSN accounts in Adium, I wanted to make sure it won't merge my contacts. Are contacts for each account kept completely separate?

I ask because I've used other chat clients which merged all my contact to each of the accounts. What I mean by this is that all contacts for account #2 automatically get added to account #1 and vice-versa.

Adium won't merge them but show them in one list.
