Growl notifications stopped working

Hi! I've been using Adium for many months now and think it's a wonderful bit of software. However, I've noticed in the last few weeks that my Growl notifications have stopped working. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both Adium and Growl but there has been no change. I still see notifications from other programs like Acquisition. I also do not have Logitiech Control Centre installed.

I'm running OS X 10.5.2 with Adium 1.2.3 and Growl 1.1.2

Try going into the Growl preferences in System Preferences, under Applications and check if the program is enabled.

I've checked the preferences and all of my applications are enabled. Strange how this should just affect Adium....

Have you reviewed Adium's instructions to check your settings in it?

I've checked my Adium preferences and there's nothing in there that would suggest that Growl notifications wouldn't work. I don't tend to go messing around in preferences as I don't want to break things!! It just seems weird that nothing has been changed (at least that I know of) and that Growl has stopped working! Perhaps I ought to go back to Messenger for Mac.........

i just had this problem, growl stopped working with adium, but worked for all my other programs. i was able to fix it following this thread
