Sorry if this has already been discussed, I couldn't find anything in the forums though.
Is there any way to prevent Growl from displaying all notifications when, say, 20+ notifications come in at once? I use Growl with NetNewsWire and some RSS feeds (The Economist, for one) update with 100 or so items at a time. This makes my system nearly unusable for a few minutes as Growl takes up huge amounts of CPU and memory (100+ megs)... then it covers my entire screen with notifications that often take longer than they should to disappear.
It seems to me like this is something that should be addressed in Growl itself rather than making every app developer implement flood control.
Thanks!
