Please add this feature! First, I love Adium, it is the best thing since sliced bread but this little thing drives me nuts every day; I have the contact list set to "Automatically Hide the Contact List" which is perfect for me, out of the way, no clutter, nice and clean!
But almost every time I reach for a tool in Photoshop, Final Cut, Aperture I accidently get in contact with the screen edge with the mouse and out bounces the contact list, it is very annoying and it seems like I never will get used to it.
This is a very small thing in the overall scheme of things, I know that but this almost "nervous behavior" of the contact list is a small concentration buster about 100 times a day.
A delay, as how the Dock works in hide mode would be super!
Maybe a checkbox in Prefs "Delay appearance on screen edge contact". Please!
Am I the only one reacting to this? Dang, then its never going to get done!
But the guys at Apple thought it was important for the Dock so I could not be totally wrong about this:)
