text not visible in yahoo chat room

it's weird. i can sign in a yahoo chatroom like normal, but nothing i text is coming up in the room. not even in the logs. i've been in the same room with myself on two different sn's, and the sn i use with the yahoo app works, while the adium sn still doesn't show up. i've updated and everything, what is the deal!?!?!?!?!

What version of Adium are you using? What chat room are you joining? Is any error message shown?

Adium X 1.2.5 running on an OS X 10.4.11/ i've tried multiple rooms and it happens to all of them, and no error messages at all.

almost forgot, but i can see the user in each of the rooms, meaning that i can click on the sn and read the profile and everything...it even tells me when they both log out and such. it's like i'm in the room....but i can't say anything. freaky weird
