No more multiple buddy updates in message window?

So I just upgraded to 1.3b3 and everything looks great! I just have one gripe about it, and maybe I'm just not finding the right preference to fix this: In the message window, until this version, Adium used to show all of the latest status updates from buddies ("So-and-so went away/idle/offline/etc"). In 1.3, the window only seems to show the most recent update. In the chat transcript log, however, it does show all of the sequential status updates. While this might be a new feature, I prefer the old way. Is there any way to get this back?

This was a purposeful change. I don't think the devs will revert it.
