1.3b3 Facebook re-connect bug

Post by PhilZombie »

This occurs when I after I put my Mac to sleep. On wake-up, my Adium accounts all re-connect, except Facebook, which stays in a perpetual state of trying to connect. I have to manually 'disconnect' and reconnect and then it works fine again.

I get the exact same thing, only I don't have the option of disconnect, it just lists it as connecting and I have the option to connect (as well as the status message options and disable), clicking connect normally makes it work

Actually, since I first posted this, Facebook chat has stopped working altogether. It shows as 'connected' but none of my friends are listed, even though I can see several are online from the Facebook site.

I downloaded the beta this morning for the first time, and got the b3 update, I've set up my facebook account but when I try to connect, nothing happens. I have the debug window open, and when I do otehr things (like closing out gtalk for example) the window shows whats happening. Attempting a connection to Facebook gives nothing. its like its falling into a black hole. No activity at all.

The problem with the facebook list dissapearing are also discussed in this thread
http://forums.cocoaforge.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=17566
and i have made a tempoary fix, but the fix is also added to the adium reposetory, so it is proberly fixed from the next beta, i guess.
