Disable sync notifications in HardwareGrowler

Is there any way to disable sync notifications in HardwareGrowler? My screen gets filled up with Sync started and Sync finished notifications every time my .mac syncs (which is set to automatically sync preferences and such in the background).

You can disable them on the Applications tab of the Growl pane in System Preferences.
