Growl 1.1.4 on Leopard not showing GrowlMail or GrowlSafari in the system preferences panel. Only Adium, Cyberduck, Firefox, GrowlMenu and FontExplorer are displayed.
Do I need to reinstall Growl?

Same here. Just updated to 1.1.4 and still not seeing GrowlMail or GrowlSafari. Only GrowlMenu (and Growl, obivously).

Actually, did I just see something about "GrowlItunes" here on the forum too? I don't have that in the list either. No apple "iLife" apps show in the list at all with or without "Growl" in the name.

It sounds like Growl is working fine. Why would you need to reinstall it?xenophobe51 wrote:Growl 1.1.4 on Leopard not showing GrowlMail or GrowlSafari in the system preferences panel. Only Adium, Cyberduck, Firefox, GrowlMenu and FontExplorer are displayed.

You may, however, want to reinstall GrowlMail and GrowlSafari.

Have you ever run GrowlTunes?xenophobe51 wrote:Actually, did I just see something about "GrowlItunes" here on the forum too? I don't have that in the list either.
None of the iLife apps support Growl, and AFAIK, the only one that can be made to support Growl is iTunes. No apple "iLife" apps show in the list at all with or without "Growl" in the name.

Uninstall, reinstall all and now it's working.

Re: Growl 1.1.4 on Leopard not showing GrowlMail or GrowlSafari
I updated to 1.1.4, removed GrowlMail, and installed Growmail again with no luck. I removed both Growl and Growlmail manually and reinstalled both with no luck. They are both activated within each of their settings respectfully. I've restarted and I've cleared my systen cache all with failed attempts.
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!!?
I'm on OSX 10.5.3
Thanks.

Re: Growl 1.1.4 on Leopard not showing GrowlMail or GrowlSafari
I am a new user. Downloaded Growl 1.1.4, then GrowlMail plugin.
Haven't had any notifications - have checked preferences and they seem OK.
Leopard 10.5.3.
In fact, Growl hasn't done anything at all. I'll keep searching forums for more info but I only downloaded for Mail.app notifications so am not sure what else to try to see if anything else is working.
I know it is running - I have icon in menu bar and have relaunched a few times to make sure.
