can you clone adium?

Hi...

I was wondering if you can clone adium x because I have multiple screen names but I don't want the contacts to be merged onto the same buddy list. Can you clone adium x like how in aim+ you can clone aim?

Just make a new group (Contact --> Add group) and then move the users from different accounts to specific groups. Then theres no need to clone Adium.

well ... what I was trying to do ... is that i wanted to set only one of my screen names away, while the other remained active. Is it possible to do that without setting both accounts with an away message?

Why not just connect one account at a time then? Its pretty simple.. Just start up Adium while holding down shift, and then select the accounts you want online in the File-menu.

well because i want account x to have a message up saying that my new sn is account y ... so i want both of them to be on at the same time ... so that i can talk on account y but have an away message on x .

You can do this by going to the Status menu and highlighting each individual account at the bottom. From there you can set individual Away messages, etc. for each account.
