I'm seeing a bug when I try to select a display style for a given application notification. To recreate the bug:
1. I open the Growl pref pane.
2. Click Applications pane.
3. Double-click an application.
4. Click Notifications.
5. Select a Notification from the pop-up.
6. Now choose a Display Style.
Bug is: whichever Display Style I select, the one that's 2 items below it is the one that's previewed (eg, select "Bezel" and I get an on-screen preview of "Bubbles"). However, the Display Style I select is (correctly) the one that's actually used by the application.
Bug when selecting Notification Display Style
Re: Bug when selecting Notification Display Style
You described what happens to me perfectly.
Re: Bug when selecting Notification Display Style
Does this happen with webkit styles?
Re: Bug when selecting Notification Display Style
It happens irrespective of which style is chosen. As a programmer I have a suspicion the bug is a result of 2 items being added to the top of the popup menu (ie, "Default" and a divider line) but those 2 items not being taken into account when the preview is activated.The_Tick wrote:Does this happen with webkit styles?

Re: Bug when selecting Notification Display Style
Yep, this is what happens to me, as well.
I was going to start a thread on this, but found this one already.
The bug is also misleading because you’d think the wrong display style is selected as the default. So, you attempt to change them all. But, this bug only affects the preview in the preference pane.
