Header remains for offline contacts

Post by dmccurtis »

I just installed the latest version of Adium, and my contact list behaviour has changed. Previously, if all the contacts on my list were offline, the entire list would disappear, header and all. Now, when everyone is offline, the header remains, with nothing under it (I have 'Hide Offline Contacts' checked).

Is this an intentional change, or has something gone wrong? I've tried removing and reinstalling Adium once, and the behaviour remains.

Any help would be appreciated.

If I understand the initial post correctly with the header being the place where the usericon and name is then I must say that it is expected behaviour. If you go to appearance and choose the window style to be Borderless Window(From Regular Window) you will see your contactlist disappear completely when your contacts are offline. Group Bubbles does the same. I'm not sure if hiding groups has to be enabled or not but give the settings a try.

Maybe someone else can shed some more light on the issue?

By the header, I'm referring to the start of the list, that would say "Contacts" or "Friends" or "Buddies," with a reveal triangle.
