I just installed Growl v1.1.4 and GrowlMail while logged into my Admin Account. Then I restarted Mail. GrowlMail works!
But when I log into my regular non-Admin Account, Growl works but GrowlMail does not. I don't see the extra prefernce pane in Apple Mail.
What is wrong? Do I need to install GrowlMail for EACH user account?
GrowlMail 1.1.4 ONLY works in my Admin Account
Re: GrowlMail 1.1.4 ONLY works in my Admin Account
I think you do. GrowlMail won't work in /Library anymore
Re: GrowlMail 1.1.4 ONLY works in my Admin Account
Strange. I do not see GrowMail installed in (My Admin User Account Home Folder)/Library/Mail. It is installed in /Library/Mail.
If I install GrowMail while logged into my regular non-admin account, it should not make any difference since it appears that GrowlMail does not touch /Library in my home folder. It installs to /Library in Macintosh_HD.

Re: GrowlMail 1.1.4 ONLY works in my Admin Account
Ah, in that case you probably need to enable mail bundles then.
Re: GrowlMail 1.1.4 ONLY works in my Admin Account
How do you enable "mail bundles"? I don't see the option in Growl Preferences.
Re: GrowlMail 1.1.4 ONLY works in my Admin Account
It's a defaults command. Search the forums for how to do this.
Re: GrowlMail 1.1.4 ONLY works in my Admin Account
MailBundles were enabled in my Admin Account but NOT in my regulat user account.
So while logged into my regular user account, I opened TERMINAL and run this command:
"defaults write com.apple.mail EnableBundles -bool YES"
Then I opened mail, I got this warning message:
"Mail has disabled the following installed bundles:
GrowlMail
Please contact the makers of these bundles for a version compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 Mail before reinstalling them."
So it didn't work. I am running 10.4.11.
Any other ideas?

There's one other command you need, bundlecompatibility I think is the name of it but I'm not positive on that
Re: GrowlMail 1.1.4 ONLY works in my Admin Account
I just upgraded to Leopard, and I'm having the same problem with the same error message after installing 1.1.4. Is there any reliable way to get GrowlMail to work in Leopard? I see a lot of questions in the forums and elsewhere online but no clear solution.
