Can't log in to msn with version 1.3

I tried both clicking the "download and install" button in adium and downloading it separately to update to version 1.3. I tried to log in my QQ account and it works well but keep showing the following message when I tried to log in my msn account:
Error: Unable to authenticate: The e-mail address or password is incorrect.

I've checked both my email address and pw with the ver. 1.2.7 and it works.

P.S.: I have no Xtras installed.

I'm experiencing the exact same thing. Besides that, I'm not noticing any problems (so far), but all access to MSN has been lost.

Glad it's not just me, though.

I think we have a ticket filed on this one, bug don't hang me up on it. You could try and search the trac.

On a related notice, MSN works just fine for me.

It doesn't work for me either. I'm running OS 10.4.11 - and it only happened day before yesterday when I installed 1.3.

Not sure if this is your situation, but this hint is worth repeating here:

You must have at least one contact in MSN Messenger for Adium to log you on. Use the web-based or Microsoft-provided clients to create a contact in Messenger, then try again.
