GrowlMail appears in Mail pane but no notifications

I've got Leopard 10.5.5 and last version of Growl. I've recently installed growlMail and it appears in Mail preferences pane.
I've activated Growl, checked preferences of mail application in Growl pane in System Preferences and in Mail app itself.
But I can't see notifications. Notifications from other apps work just fine.
I've also tried to change display (Plain, AboveTheNight), just in case, but it doesn't help.

I would really appreciate any help.

Did you install GrowlMail and then start Growl? If so, try restarting Mail.

I've restarted Mail and tried to logout and login - didn't help.
