I hope it is OK that I announce this here:
GrowLCDproc 1.3.8 is now available for download.

GrowLCDproc 1.3.8 adds true coalescing support, iTunes ratings support and improved display format.
GrowLCDproc is a Growl display plugin that allows you to send your Growl notifications to any server running LCDproc http://www.lcdproc.org/. As a combination LCDproc client and Growl display, GrowLCDproc bridges the gap between the excellent Mac OS X notification support available in Growl and the excellent hardware support available in LCDproc. Because LCDproc supports a variety of operating systems (including Mac OS X) and display hardware, GrowLCDproc provides many new possibilities for displaying your notifications on your local or remote networked computers.
For instance, if you have a VFD or character LCD supported by LCDproc, you can display your notifications on the external display without taking up any valuable screen space. You could even check the status of your Xserve array without plugging in a monitor.
Also, you can display your notifications, fully formatted with your color and size preferences, in a Linux terminal window using the LCDproc curses display. You can even use a classic Mac with an ethernet or serial connection and a simple terminal emulator to view your notifications (finally a use for that old Macintosh Plus).
As always, GrowLCDproc is free.

Re: GrowLCDproc 1.3.8 Available
Does it work with the latest version of Growl?
Re: GrowLCDproc 1.3.8 Available
It absolutely does. It has worked with Growl 1.1.x since December of 2007, I compiled against 1.1.4 source code, and I just tested it out on 1.1.4 to make sure.
