Questions I have.

Hey guys, new to the forums, but not really new to Adium.

Just have a few Qs, hopefully they're not too hard.

1st: I've heard a lot of good things about 1.4, but couldn't find anything giving a possible time period in which it may be released. Can someone set me straight, or get me on the path to getting this Q answered.

2nd. I like the iTunes feature, but I've noticed that people using MSN can have a status message and then when you hover over them in the contacts list it will also show what they are playing. So it shows what they are playing without effecting their status message. Any plans on seeing something like this in the future?

1.4 is pretty far out. Check out the "Roadmap". There you can see how it is coming along. You can also follow progress watching the "Timeline" (has an RSS feed).

Go to the Preferences and to the Accounts pane. Click your MSN account and then "Edit". There, in the "Privacy" pane, you will find the setting "Let others know what iTunes is playing". It think that is what you are looking for. If you are running a non-English version of Adium this setting might be missing (see ticket #11118 for reference).

Any help on these would be appreciated.

Thanks, the Roadmap and Timeline was exactly the information I was looking for to help me get a general idea of progress.

Set this up as per your instructions, I've yet to be able to test it, but sounds like exactly what I was looking for.
