Hiding Alerts!!

Post by JaKXz »

Hey everyone,

I just got Adium, and I have to say it is the best IM Client for Mac I have ever used. HOWEVER: it has one MAJOR FLAW.

When I'm signed in, I'm usually set to the "busy" status, because, well, I'm usually busy. So when I'm going about doing my work, I don't like having little alerts showing up in the screen every few minutes! If there is any possible way to fix this, PLEASE LET ME KNOW =) !

And I hope that this is [as small as it is] going to reach the eyes of someone on the development board, and would hopefully make a difference in future versions!
Until then, Adium is FAR from perfect, and still needs improvements like: support for writing 'personal messages' as well as this alerts problem, and other problems...

Thanks

Tieing events to your own status has been requested before: see ticket #1942.
In the meantime, you could just deactivate Growl notifications entirely.

Adium 1.3.2 supports MSN "Personal Messages".
