Growl Perl

Greetings,
I am writing a little wrapper around growlnotify in Perl and I was wondering is there a way to define which application to open output when notification is clicked. I know a lot of application adopt click functionality, but not sure if option is available from Perl or command line.

You do know there is a perl module already right? Mac::Perl is in CPAN

I do know that, trying to do something a little different.
Mac::Growl doesn't have the functionality I am asking about either

It doesn't have the functionality, but neither does growlnotify.
