Yahoo isn't logging in

Quit working yesterday but just started working this morning. I had to quit and restart Adium. Using 1.3.2.

I'm experiencing the same, Adium 1.3.2. Also, same problem with IM+ on the iPhone. Works OK with Yahoo Messenger 3.0 beta 3.

Mine is working now as well; no change in my settings, so much be a strange Yahoo server problem.

the 66.163.181.106 addy worked for me- i put it in the field for "login server" (Adium>Preferences>Accounts>(double-click yahoo acct)>Options) and deleted what was in the port field so it would reset.

I also had problems connecting with YIM client itself, it said network errors. Same thing with both clients in other user account on my mac, so it's not a preference issue.

this does seem to be an issue on the yahoo side, not adium.

Yahoo's always been really unreliable from my Macs no matter what the client, and i only use it because some friends are on it....

By the way, you DO see the error/nonconnect message in Adium if you open Preferences and look at the list of accounts... the error message is to right of account name. Mine said something about no matching nodename.

Started getting the "Socket is not connected" error with Yahoo this morning. Can't connect. Login server is already set to 66.163.181.106. Port is set to 5050. That's correct, right?
FWIW, YIM, itself, connects without a problem.

Try this:
1. Disconnect Yahoo
2. Change the connection config from scs.msg.yahoo.com into 66.163.181.106
3. Enable Yahoo
Does that solve the problem?
