Issue With Styles

Hello,
I was trying to reinstall growl because my brushed style was not showing up correctly. For some reason the brushed style looked plain (no metal texture). I installed a couple of other styles then uninstalled growl. When I reinstalled growl the other styles I installed before where still there and the brushed style still didn't work. I was thinking maybe the styles are just stored some where and I could delete them?

Apple made all brushed typed things no longer look brushed in 10.5 Is that the case with your system?

Thanks for the reply! The tick was an awesome cartoon by the way I do have leopard os x 10.5 ... I guess I didn't notice that safari wasn't brushed metal either until you mentioned it! But if I download one of the skins on the growl site "Ixtus" it still looks brushed. Is there anyway to fix it?

I bet ixtus uses an image. Brushed uses a nib if I remember right.
