mkv with subtitles problem perian 1.1.3

Hello, i've installed 1.1.3 and i found out that if an mkv with subtitles is loaded in front row the playback is very choppy
In quicktime and itunes the video plays just fine.I've also found out that if you don't load the subtitles in front row,then the
mkv plays fine,could you help me? Does anyone else has this problem?

This is Apple's issue. Tell them to support "graphicsModePreBlackAlpha". Perian has to use a hack which is significantly less efficient because Front Row, unlike the all of the rest of the QuickTime based apps, cannot support the proper method. There is nothing we can do about this till Apple fixes Front Row.

The avi's though play fine in front row with subtitles,is it a problem related only with the mkv format?

Likely because AVIs don't require as much CPU power as then tend to use a less complex compression. This is still Apple's fault, and there's absolutely nothing we can do about it till they fix Front Row. Go to http://bugreporter.apple.com and demand they fix it.
