Tube Tv will not open

When I attempt to open the program, Tube TV , I get the message " You need to download and install Perian, A quick time component".
It is installed in my preference pane folder and yet I continue to get that message and cannot use Tube TV.
What is wrong ?

Did you actually install the components themselves. Open the pref pane and it should tell you. If they are installed, then ask the tube tv people what's wrong.
