FLV file and Quicktime problem

Hello!

I'd like to play FLV files through Quicktime 7.5.5, but for some reason I can't. I have the latest version of Perian (I installed it an hour ago) and I repeatedly get the error "This file is not a movie file" every time I try to play an FLV file through Quicktime. I know there's something I've overlooked. Any help is greatly appreciated.

How new is the flv file? If it's fairly new, try renaming it to .mp4. That's just a guess though.
