Blocked users still in group chat

So I don't do group chats often and I normally only block bots, but a few friends of mine do group chats. The other day, they had me in a group chat and another person in it, I had blocked, but still could chat with them. I don't want blocked people seeing what I say or me seeing what they say. Can this be done?

I suspect this depends on http://trac.adiumx.com/ticket/11416 which currently looks like it'll be done for 1.4.
