New adium now i get contact invite from meshuga@yahoo.com

this keeps popping up every time i boot adium and it's getting really annoying how do I get rid of it.

Does it solve the problem, when you block that adress in the privacy-options?

I have privacy set to only contacts on my contact list and this mesugana@yahoo.com sends me a contact list invite every time I log into adium

I don't think that stops anyone asking permission to be added to the contactlist. I would put him in the blockinglist and see if that solves the problem.

since adium updated I no longer have the option to choose block under contacts. it is grayed out.

The option "block certain contacts" in pricacy-options is not grayed out in my Adium 1.3.3 on Tiger 10.4.11.
It is right under "Allow only contacts on my contact list".
Normally, you can type an adress in that blockinglist like mesugana@yahoo.com.
Maybe you can check his profile on the Yahoo-site, when he is a human being, not one of the many Yahoo-bots, you might via e-mail ask him to stop those requests.
