Hey Guys really need some help with a script!

I am completly new to mac so on windows i used miranda and there was a plugin which send my buddys the current played song from my away message everytime when they send me a message with the trigger "!download" ...
so i just want to have that feature for my adium x also, is this possible?? i already found an applescript which sends the current played song when i write /sendtune into the chat window... but thats nato enough it has to happen automatically if my buddy write "!download" to me... can you help me ? i also tried to find that applescript! and want to edit it myself... but i did not found the script anywhere on my HDD...

guys please help me ;)

Unfortunately at this point in time Adium does not support parsing the contents of received messages within a script. Please see:

http://trac.adiumx.com/ticket/6214

Without being able to look at the contents of a chat, you won't be able to tell what the person at the other end sent you.

ok thanks for the info, is there some hope, that this will be fixed in the next version ?

I wouldn't hold my breath for it. If you search the forums you will find a message or two about this. It's not as simple as it might seem. I seem to remember that the functionality is dependent on another feature that was being worked on, I'm not sure of the status. The trac I mentioned has been open for 2 years.
